SHOULDER PAIN ADELAIDE

Shoulder pain can be complex because of the interactions between the spine, scapula and the shoulder joint itself.  Pain can activate the fight/flight response, sending the muscles around your neck and shoulder into protective mode.  This muscle imbalance can be difficult to overcome on your own, but there is definitely something you can do.

Early, accurate diagnosis is critical in helping you recover.  A full assessment by a Physiotherapist is a crucial first step in getting your shoulder to feel better and return to full function

Our unique treatment includes a 'hands-on' approach to quickly decrease pain, improve flexibility and restore function.

We find most shoulder pains respond extremely well to dry needling.  Many of the small muscles around the shoulder are difficult to stretch and therefore become tight and restricted over time.  Using very fine needles we are able to quickly and effectively release the tightness and bring you back into balance.  We also utilize massage, myofascial release, stretching and strengthening exercises to help get your shoulder to the point where you can manage it yourself in the long run.
